The Studio in La Mesa Closed Permanently on April 30, 2020

The Piano Studio was equipped with an upright acoustic piano in excellent condition which was used for teaching group classes and private lessons. There were six full size 88-key digital pianos (Clavinova, Kurzweil, Classico, Roland, Casio & Suzuki), four 76-key digital pianos (Yamaha & Casio), and two Yamaha 61-key touch response keyboards for students' use during class. All instruments were on adjustable stands with benches, stools, or chairs. Group instructions were enhanced by the use of a laptop computer connected to a LCD projector so instructional materials could be projected onto a white board. The erasable magnetic white board was also used for writing. Headphones were also available for students' use during class. Small class size allowed some individual instructions in additional to lecture, demonstration, and group playing. The focus for all classes was to ensure students "Experience the Joy of Playing the Piano".
